Road tripin' [Spokane sessions with Grant, Austin, Jorjanna, & Jon + Candace]

In October I hit the road and took a solo little road trip to Spokane, Wa for a few family sessions. No road trip from Seattle to Spokane is complete without at least one stop at the Thorp Fruit Stand & Antique Mall, especially with photo sessions on the mind! I could've spent all day rummaging through all the good stuff they had, though my wallet had a different view. :]

All 4 of my sessions took place on a {gorgeous} Saturday afternoon in various nooks and crannies at Manito Park {which is stunning, if ever in Spokane, you have got to check it out!}.

My first session of the day kicked off with Jon & Candace who are very dear to my heart. The love they share is unconditional and extremely inspiring. I am so lucky to have these two in my life & to have been able to spend a day in their lives capturing some of the love {and humor} that they share. To five years and counting! Happy Anniversary!

My second session was with Grant. Infant sessions are one of my favorites. I met up with Grant & his Mama, Heather under some gorgeous fall trees on a blanket of warm autumn colors {all the fallen leaves!}. What a snugly little guy! He was amazing throughout the shoot, so alert & hungry for his chubby little hands (thanks for the challenge, little guy!)! He was so warm & snugly, it was hard to refrain from squishing him the whole time!

My second session was with Grant's cousin, Austin- What a handsome little guy (who knew exactly what to do behind the lens!). We played ball, climbed rocks & hills, & rolled around in the grass! Some of the most fun I've had with a session!

Next, I spent some {super fun} time with Jorjanna & her parents. I'd been waiting to meet the Logan's for what seemed like forever & was so excited to finally have the chance, as well as the opportunity to snap a few photos of a day in their lives! Jorjanna & I had a blast watching & feeding the ducks {two bites for JJ, one bite for the ducks}, rolling around on the ground, playing princess, looking through a few old books, & throwing leaves around! Can't wait to meet up again soon!

I had an amazing time with all of these families! Can’t wait to visit again soon! Until next time Spokane...
