Eileen [sunshine on a cloudy day]

Meet Eileen. Eileen has been one of my closest friends since age 10. I admire a lot of things about her, from her awe-inspiring talented voice and musical inclinations, to her stunning and unique beauty and every puzzle piece in between. I was so excited when Eileen agreed to be my first model behind the lens of my new camera & even more thrilled at the thought of her adventurism and fun-spirited nature when it came time to talk about the [very good] chance of a rain cloud or two joining our session. Needless to say, upon looking through the imagery, we got lucky and the clouds parted ways for the warm[ish] sun to soak our faces and glisten upon the waves. A good afternoon with a gorgeous friend, attempting to do her beauty justice.

Sean + Amberly [a las vegas engagement]

I was both honored and [super] excited when I received an invite from Sean & Amberly to photograph both their engagement and wedding in Las Vegas! We had so much fun running all around the city covering [of course!] the classic photo ops, finding some exciting new areas and heading all the way to the outskirts of town to take in the awe-inspiring scapes of Red Rock Canyon. In less than 2 days, we definitely covered a lot of ground and got some pretty amazing shots. Thanks for showing me the ins & outs of your [amazing] city Sean & Amberly! Congratulations on your engagement- Spending even this short amount of time with the two of you, I am so very excited about your union. Your love absolutely radiates. Looking forward to the wedding this fall! ♥

Hannah's [sweet 16] Photobooth

Hannah's sister Gen invited me to capture a few moments of Hannah's sweet 16 birthday party and I thought it might be fun to set up a little photobooth with a few fun props for her to use with her friends for a portion of my time with them. After a little warming up, they all seemed to have a ton of fun getting creatively silly behind the lens and I had probably some of the most fun I've had taking the photos! After photobooth, the party moved on to tie-dying shirts, socks, & pillow cases! Those photos turned out very well & will come in good time! ;] Happy Birthday Hannah!

Eris [amour inspiré]

I've been so lucky to have been photographing Eris since she was first born and get more and more excited about each new session that I have with her! Such a gorgeous little gal, she is busting at the seams with personality, giggles and smiles that melt the heart. For this session we centered things around Valentine's Day, trying to stick with some traditional aspects, yet mix things up just a bit to fit more of what this family's style really is.
